We went to see SIL today and I'm pleased to report that she was on top form. She still has 1 drain in but that is due to be removed tomorrow. She loved her microwavable sheep and promised to throw away the hot water bottle which gave her nasty burns on her tummy. (Thanks to Sib for the link to the correct website.) I'd taken the camera with us, of course, but the right sort of Kodak moment didn't really arise. She showed me all her war wounds and I have to say that I was pretty impressed by the quality of the surgery (if quality is the right word, but you know what I mean!). Looking at her you wouldn't guess that she is currently a little "lop-sided"!
An extra useless fact: The chocolate pup is 3 years old today, seems like he's been part of our family for ever.
